Foreign students who have been granted a residence permit as a student in Norway are now allowed to enter the country. Detailed information with useful links below.

The Norwegian Government has amended its COVID-19-related entry restrictions now allowing the admission of foreign students to Norway for study. Click here to read more about this decision.

Students who receive a study permit are subject to the quarantine rules in force at whatever time they enter Norway, and they will have to heed Norwegian infection control guidelines like everyone else. Click here to be updated on the current quarantine guidelines. We recommend bookmarking the page to be informed of routine updates.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT STUDENTS MUST BE GRANTED AN OFFICIAL STUDENT PERMIT BEFORE ENTERING THE COUNTRY. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER WITHOUT A VISA.
