A taste of the American college experience at Homecoming 2021
Homecoming Spirit Week is an important event at the beginning of each school year at American universities. It is a week filled with events and fun, where students get into the college spirit by enjoying different activities. This year's Homecoming Spirit Week at ACN consisted of theme days, a tennis table tournament, an American football game, and the annual Homecoming Dance.

Creative writing short story winner
In spring 2021, students enrolled in Creative Writing at ACN had the opportunity to participate in a Short Story Competition. The judges were impressed by all of the stories submitted, and finally (unanimously) settled on a winner: Jim Westgård's "Unit 1A docking to loading bay 4".

As we wrap up the Fall 2020 semester and near the end of the year, we can't thank our faculty and staff enough for working so diligently to prioritize safety while still delivering top-notch education and an active campus life. Student Advisor position (temporary: maternity leave) – This position has been filled
Do you want to join the ACN team? The American College of Norway seeks to hire a Student Advisor in a temporary, part-time (60%) position while the current Advisor is on maternity leave. This one-year position will last from January - December of 2021. The hiring committee will begin assessing applications on Monday, November 2nd. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Kristina Syversen started her college career at ACN back in 2007 and recently received her Ph.D. in Educational Foundations and Research from the University of North Dakota. Reflecting back on her educational career, Kristina revisits many of her fond memories in the U.S. and offers advice to our new batch of students. Congratulations on your recent graduation and the start of your new career at Høgskolen i Innlandet! We're so proud of you, Kristina!
