University of North Dakota student, Megan Reister, planned to study in Norway for one semester at the American College of Norway. She quickly learned that one semester wasn't enough.

Every October, we transform our hallowed halls into a horrifying haunted house, and this year was no exception! This year, nearly 300 people came through our doors... some had to even leave early! We definitely put on an authentic American haunted house, that's for sure. Read more about this year's urban legends themed haunted house. The American College of Norway has organized a travel course to Svalbard the past two years and this year was no exception. With great interest and tremendous success the past two trips, another Arctic expedition was planned! This year, 16 students spent an unforgettable week exploring Norway's northernmost territory with Dr. John Ross. This year's Homecoming Week 2018 was a huge success thanks in part to ACN's Activities Committee. This dedicated committee of students came together to plan an unforgettable and eventful Homecoming Week that was full of fun dress up days, delicious snacks and a magical themed Homecoming Dance.

After a hectic week of gathering prizes, making groups and planning activities, one of the best weeks of the year has passed; the American College of Norway’s annual Welcome Week! We were thrilled to welcome students from all over Norway, the United States and the world to ACN!

This past summer, the American College of Norway celebrated its 25th anniversary right where it all started, in Moss, Norway! ACN alumni, faculty, staff and supporters came from near and far to celebrate our 25th anniversary with fun-filled reunion events the last weekend of June. With over 100 attendees in total, there were countless reunions and walks down memory lane.

Every summer we welcome students to the American College of Norway to take part in a four-week summer session and this summer was no exception.

ACN Alumni, Faculty and Friends, as we celebrate and build on ACN’s 25 year history of accomplishments, we remain challenged by limited resources to ensure that future students are also able to benefit from an ACN experience. We strive to provide the very best educational and personal growth experiences at an affordable cost. ACN increasingly depends on private philanthropy for the continued evolution of the college as a place where Norway and American truly meet for the benefit of all students.
